Syeda Nazifa Nawroj specializes in corporate law, with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). Her expertise centers around strategic corporate transactions, ensuring that her clients navigate the complexities of dealmaking in compliance with applicable laws. Syeda is committed to aligning legal strategies with her client’s business objectives.

Before joining Legal Scale, Syeda honed her M&A specialization at Fenwick & West LLP in Silicon Valley. There, she managed a diverse array of deal structures, from mergers and joint ventures to divestitures. Prior to Fenwick, she began her corporate law practice at DLA Piper LLP in Palo Alto, advising founders and investors, serving startups and emerging companies across various stages of development – from formation to market exit.

Syeda is an alumna of New York University School of Law, where she served as an Executive Editor for the NYU Law Review. She completed her B.A. in Economics & International Relations with honors from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. Syeda is licensed to practice law in California.
