Shay Walker is a Corporate Paralegal at Legal Scale. In her role, she supports Legal Scale’s attorneys across a wide array of corporate matters, including financings, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and governance, securities filings, due diligence, and general corporate matters. Additionally, she assists with the overall operational aspects of Legal Scale.

Before joining the Legal Scale team, Shay operated her own legal support and consulting practice, providing corporate paralegal, project management, and operational support to law firms, startups, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses. Prior to that, she supported attorneys at regional and national law firms on commercial real estate, affordable housing, community development, securities, and corporate transactions.

Shay received her B.S. in Sociology, with minors in Psychology and General Business, from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she is currently completing her Paralegal Studies Certificate. She is also a Virginia and Washington, D.C. Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent. Shay is based out of Midlothian, Virginia.
