Lara Werneck graduated magna cum laude from Boston University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts.

Currently a 1L at Columbia Law School, she serves as a Staff Editor for the Race and Law Journal and is a member of the Competitive Asylum and Refugee Law Moot Court Team. During her first year at Columbia, Lara was also a 1L Admissions and Recruitment representative for Latinx Law Student Association. Beyond her studies, she serves on the board of the Red Thread Foundation for Women, a nonprofit that empowers women of international background through scholarships and mentorship.

She is eager to explore her interest in corporate law as a Summer Associate at Legal Scale this summer!
