Legal Scale is thrilled to welcome a talented group of law students to our firm as part of our 2025 Summer Associate Program. These bright and ambitious individuals bring with them a diversity of perspectives, academic excellence, and a strong interest in the work we do.

Our 1L Summer Associate Program is designed to provide early exposure to the dynamic and collaborative nature of our practice. Over the course of the program, our summers will work alongside attorneys on active matters, participate in substantive training sessions, and gain meaningful insight into the responsibilities and rewards of a legal career in private practice.

In addition to hands-on legal experience, our program includes professional development opportunities, mentorship from experienced attorneys, and firm-wide events to foster connection and community. We believe these experiences not only support the growth of our summer associates, but also reflect our ongoing investment in the future of the legal profession.

Maneesha Kanukuntla

Maneesha Kanukuntla is a 2027 J.D. Candidate at Cornell Law School. She is interested in corporate law and previously worked as an assistant paralegal at a business immigration law firm in Silicon Valley. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her chocolate lab, and trying new Thai restaurants.

Erika Karlin

Erika Karlin is a 2027 J.D. Candidate at NYU School of Law. She is interested in corporate law and previously worked as an analyst at a start-up consulting company in greater Boston. In her free time, she enjoys running, supporting Gotham FC and the New York Liberty, and spending time with her cat.

Bhargav Tata

Bhargav Tata is a 2027 J.D. Candidate at NYU School of Law. He is interested in corporate law and previously interned with a personal injury law firm in New York City. In his free time, he enjoys bicycling and photography
